A jilted bride-to-be was rescued just as she jumped off a building in China.
It is learnt the 22-year-old woman, who was in the midst of preparing for her wedding, attempted to take her own life after her fiancé wanted to end their four-year relationship.
On Tuesday, she cut her wrist at her rented flat in a building in Changchun, Jilin province, but stopped the bleeding later.
At 3pm, she was spotted wearing a wedding dress and sitting on a window ledge on the seventh floor of the building with her legs dangling out.
A few minutes later, she started crying and threw her purse and a cellphone onto the street below.

Firemen and police arrived at the scene. Also present was Guo Zhongfan - director of the Kuangchen district office in the city
Guo tried to persuade the woman for 40 minutes to get off the ledge to safety, but failed.
At 4.15pm, the woman's mother and aunt arrived.
"Child, you don't scare mom, if you jump, I, too, don't want to live on anymore, mom follows you to jump down," said the mother.
The woman cried even more.
Guo: I just did what I should

Sensing that something bad was about to happen, Guo moved slowly towards the woman.
Suddenly, the woman jumped off the ledge.
Just as everyone was in shock, Guo reached out and managed to grab the woman by her neck.
And with help from others, he pulled her back to safety.
The spectators clapped for one minute and a veteran soldier even saluted Guo for his bravery and swift action, saying: "You are a real man!"
"I just did what I should," Guo replied.
