A 46-year-old Taiwanese businessman forced his wife to be a prostitute after his business failed in April.The man, who invested in a Japanese firm, married a woman in China two years ago.
When his business failed, he brought his 23-year-old wife back to Taiwan.
After much persuasion, his wife agreed to sell her body.
He charged NT$2,500 (RM263) for each sex service since mid-May and took NT$800 (RM84) as commission.
The man even sent his wife to various places to have sex with her customers and printed name cards to distribute to hotels and motels.
His act was exposed after his wife was arrested in a police raid last Friday.
He was also arrested.
