A dentist has been jailed for a sex offence in Taiwan.
Chen Ching-Feng, better known by his stage name of Chen I-Sheng, has released several albums since 2008.
He is popular for his high-pitched voice which resembles that of the late Tom Chang.
On Tuesday, the 35-year-old dentist of a clinic in Taipei was sentenced to three years and six months jail for sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
According to the Taiwan media, Chen got to know the woman via the Internet four years ago.
On Nov 7, 2009, the ex-girlfriend - an undergraduate then - spent a night at his home.
She fell a sleep after taking some sleeping pills but was awoken by Chen - who wanted to have sex with her around 5.30am.
Despite being rejected, Chen insisted to have sex and forced two vibrators into her.
Due to severe pain and bleeding from her intimate area, she was sent to the hospital. Doctors removed a broken vibrator section about 7cm long from her urethra.
Chen defended himself, saying that he did the act with the ex-girlfriend's consent but the court did not believe him.
His lawyer said Chen would appeal against the verdict.
