The brave trainer happily fluffs up the mane of massive maneater Jamu, as well as giving him rub-downs and a MANICURE.

The pampering sessions are designed to make Jamu, nine, irresistible to love interest Elsa – and help them produce cubs.

Alex, 50 – originally a trucker in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire – works at a park in Johannesburg, South Africa.
