Did a Scottish artist have a premonition of the Sept 11 tragedy, a decade before?
Or is this a chlling case of life imitating art?
Artist Willie Gardner’s drawing shows a forlorn-looking girl, two planes and twin towers.
Gardner died on November 27 last year at the age of 78, making it impossible to know if it was a premonition.
However, the artist's daughter, Aileen Currie, 53, said, "My father never showed any psychic qualities when he was alive but it's like he predicted the future."
She confessed: "It's chilling that what he drew 13 years earlier went on to become such horrible reality."
The artwork is currently hung at the Grangemouth's Community Education Unit, in Stirlingshire, Scotland.
