Singaporean singer A-do is said to have secretly gotten engaged to sexy Chinese actress Li Xinyu.

The Chinese media reported that A-do had ordered a ring, worth nearly 1mil yuan (RM490,080) specially made for his fiancée.

It was also reported that A-do flew to Beijing, China, to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with Li last Monday.

The 38-year-old He Must Really Love You singer got to know Li in Hong Kong four years ago.

But they only fell in love earlier this year.

The media also said that A-do had given a red BMW car to his lover, and renovated their love nest in Xiaotangshan – a famous hot springs region in northern Beijing.

Li gained her popularity with her fourth mistress role in Da Zhai Yuan de Nv Ren, a story set during China's Republican period (1912 - 1945) about a man and his five wives.

What are Li and Guo doing in the cars?

The 26-year-old actress had posed nude for a magazine, and was rumoured to be an ex-girlfriend of Hong Kong director Wong Jing.

Last month, she was spotted kissing Chinese actor Guo Jiaming in a car at the parking lot of a hotel.

Several minutes later, they hugged each other and walked to the hotel, and stayed there for three hours.

Li, however, denied the report, saying Guo was helping her to pick up the cellphone that had accidentally slipped into the seat gap.

She also said they were discussing the shooting process of a music video at the hotel room, together with other crew members.
