RIHANNA'S topless video shoot in a field was brought to an abrupt halt – by a disapproving farmer who ordered her to cover up.
The songbird was seen without her bikini top when filming the promo to her latest single in Bangor, Northern Ireland yesterday.
And when farmer Alan Graham spotted her antics he insisted she stick some more clothes on.
He said: "I thought it was inappropriate. I requested them to stop and they did.
"I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I'm coming from. We shook hands."
Graham, who is a member of the local council, admitted to not knowing who the chart-topper was when he was asked for the use of his land for the clip last week.
He added: "I didn't know who was coming. If the name Rihanna had been mentioned, well, no disrespect but it wouldn't have meant anything."
Inappropriate ... Farmer Alan Graham |
Traffic practically ground to a halt as drivers strained to get a glimpse of the singer and her cavalcade.
And the farmer insisted he was within his rights to tell the singer to cover up.
He added: "From my point of view, it was my land, I have an ethos and I felt it was inappropriate.
"I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God."
Handful ... Rihanna on music video shoot |
Hordes of onlookers gathered to catch a glimpse of the singer.
The singer was seen flashing her pants while shooting scenes in a Belfast housing estate.

The fresh northern Irish climate would have come in stark contrast to the chart-topper's most recent port of call.
Rih has been enjoying the scorching sun of South America over recent weeks while on tour in the continent.
She's played a series of shows in Brazil, including Rio and the country's capital Brasilia.
But it's not been all work for the Bajan recently.

And on Thursday she starts a string of UK shows in Belfast.
