Behind the wheel ... Little Jia Zheng overtakes on motorway |
A GIRL of FOUR has been filmed driving down a busy main road while her dad shouts instructions from the back seat.
The incredible footage, apparently shot by the girl's mother, shows her speeding along a four-lane motorway, calmly overtaking other cars as she goes.
In the background, her parents can be heard reminding the youngster — who is not wearing a seatbelt — to look ahead and not be distracted.
When stopping at a set of traffic lights, the girl mistakenly queues in the left-turn lane. But she skilfully spins the wheel and pulls into the neighbouring lane to continue the journey.
After several minutes of driving her father says: "Jia Zheng, stop the car. Let daddy drive."
The man then jumps out and slides into the driving seat. He is seen removing a set of stilts the youngster was using to control the pedals.
The extraordinary video was shot in Jinan, Shandong Province, China, and posted on YouTube.
The girl's actions are reminiscent of Short Round from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
In the film, the 11-year-old taxi driver, played by Jonathan Ke Quan, famously drives recklessly around Shanghai with boxes strapped to the soles of his shoes.
