The naked young woman walking along Hong Kong's busy Queen's Road Central

Workers on their way home were greeted by a traffic-stopping sight in the central area of Hong Kong.

A naked young woman was seen walking along busy Queen's Road Central at about 6pm for about 10 minutes before she was huddled into a police car.
Initially, the 23-year-old woman, known only as Li, was seen chatting with her father on her mobile phone outside an entertainment outlet, reported Oriental Daily.

She suddenly became agitated and threw her mobile phone to the floor.
She then rushed towards a woman who was giving out fliers nearby and pushed the woman's head against a wall. The attacked woman shouted for help.

It attracted the attention of security guards at a nearby building who rushed to stop Li and they called the police.

When Li heard that the police were called, her expression changed and she started stripping off her top, jeans, bra, underwear and her shoes and socks.

She threw everything at the roadside and strolled towards the cinema.

Motorists slowed down and pedestrians stopped to gawk.

After walking for about 200m, Li walked into a watch shop and started browsing in the shop.

Stunned by the sight, the shop assistants ran out of the shop to seek assistance.

A uniformed police officer who happened to be patrolling past the shop went in to help.

He told her to remain in the shop but she ignored him and dashed out.

The police officer then followed her and grabbed her hand. He removed his police hat and used it to cover her lower body.

The crowd that had gathered outside the shop promptly took out their mobile phones to snap photos of the naked woman.

By that time, Li's father had arrived at the scene.

Earlier, after picking up his daughter's belongings from the roadside, he asked passers-by: "I'm the girl's father. Do you know where she went?"

They directed him to where she was.

Li, who was being escorted to the police car at that time, was seen trying to cover her breasts with her hands.

A female passer-by took off her own jacket and gave it to her for cover.

Her father then carried her into the police car, and she was taken to the hospital for examination.
