HE WAS so incensed when he found photos of his wife behaving intimately with another man that he headbutted her.
But that was not all.
A few months later, Vincent, 31, a restaurant manager, found a few photos of his wife in her undergarments and a video clip of her showering in the nude.
When he realised that these were taken by their then-five-year-old son at her lover's apartment, he hit the roof.
And that was when he decided he wanted a divorce.
On Wednesday, Vincent was jailed one week and ordered to pay $2,000 compensation to his wife for the headbutting incident, which took place 1 1/2 years ago.

He had earlier pleaded guilty to one count of voluntarily causing hurt.
The court was told that Mona, 30, a businesswoman, ended up with a 1cm cut on her nose bridge and a fracture at the tip of her nasal bone.
We are not using the couple's real names as their children are minors. They also have a three-year-old daughter, and two children aged 10 and 14 from her first marriage.
Speaking to The New Paper last August before he was sentenced, Vincent said he was furious with his wife for dragging their children into her affair.
Tiny feet
"That was the moment I blew up. The video clip was shot from a low angle and it was obviously our son holding the camera," he said.
He had also recognised the tiny feet that could be seen at the start of the clip when the little boy seemed to be fiddling with the gadget.
He claimed Mona had been unfaithful to him during their two-year courtship and alleged that the cheating continued even after they got married in 2005.
But Mona said she considered their marriage over since 2009, even though she had not yet filed for divorce. She also accused Vincent of being unfaithful as he was seeing other women.
The court was told that Mona had returned from a three-day Bintan trip and was sleeping in the bedroom with their children in the early hours of July 19, 2010.
At around 3am, while browsing through the photos in the camera, Vincent saw shots of her kissing and hugging another man.
He went into the bedroom, switched on the lights and shouted at her. He threw the camera at her, sat on her and started to slap her face.
During the struggle, he headbutted her on the face, causing her nose to bleed.
In his mitigation, his lawyer Josephus Tan told the court that Vincent did that as Mona, who is taller, had arm-locked his neck to restrain him.
The fight ended when their friend came into the room and separated them.
Mona was given outpatient treatment at a hospital.
Vincent claimed Mona's infidelity dated back to their courtship days. He alleged that during those two years, whenever he discovered that she was seeing other men, he wanted to call it quits, but she would apologise and they would kiss and make up.
Then she became pregnant with his child and they got married.
A year later, he claimed to have discovered photos on her mobile phone of her kissing another man. According to him, she admitted she was having an affair and broke up with the man.
"At that time, I let it go because of our son, who was only two then. I mellowed after we got married, but she didn't and she continued partying and clubbing instead of taking care of the children," he said.
'Another affair'
In May 2010, two months before the headbutting incident, he claimed that he found out that she was having another affair when her then-12-year-old daughter from her first marriage said she saw her mother kissing another man in a car.
Vincent said he confronted Mona, but she scolded the girl and accused her of "making up stories".
He claimed that Mona later confessed she was in a relationship with the man. He said this was only after he came across incriminating text messages between them in her mobile phone.
According to Vincent, she promised to end the relationship and he again forgave her, for the children's sake.
Then came the incident in July 2010.
Mona filed a police report against him the day after the incident and they stopped living together at the friend's flat.
The couple did not have a flat of their own, and were living with various people, including her father and her friend.
Vincent said he later called to apologise and asked for a reconciliation.
But he changed his mind when he saw the video clip and found out from his son that she had been taking the children to her lover's apartment. He had sneaked into her friend's flat one night and taken her camera.
"I told her, 'Don't lie to me. I've had enough.'" he said.
When he finally decided to file for a divorce last year, he found out she had beat him to it a few days earlier. She did so on grounds of adultery, claiming he was cheating on her.
She also took out a personal protection order (PPO), which was granted by the court.
Vincent said he was prepared that he might be jailed for the attack.
But what he wants to concentrate on once he is released is the future.
"She's thinking of her own enjoyment, but I need to focus on my job and my children. I cannot be wasting time on all these problems and headaches," he said.
For voluntarily causing hurt, he could have been jailed two years and fined $5,000.
