AdilanClub: 'I don't mind my girlfriend having sex with other people'

AdilanClub:Breaking news, is the best for news

A male model accused of beating up his girlfriend after a night out at a swingers party has told a jury he only slapped her because she was 'wasted' on drugs.

Patrick Ribbsaeter, 32, is alleged to have attacked Wachiraporn Sara-Pod because he believed she had sex with another man during the exclusive 'Killing Kittens' sex party in London’s West End.

The Old Bailey has been told that he throttled the 29-year-old and slammed her head against the dashboard of her Landrover Discovery as they drove back to his flat.

Miss Sara-Pod, who was known to friends as Anna, has told the jury that she was forced to flee the car wearing only a fur coat and was left with a black eye and blood streaming down her face.

AdilanClub: RM160mil offered to 8 MPs to jump ship in bid to rock PKR, destroy Anwar's credibility

AdilanClub:Breaking news, is the best for news

Prime Minister Najib Razak and his Umno-BN coalition have been accused of offering as much as RM160 million to lure 8 Opposition lawmakers to leave their parties and become Independent Members of Parliament.

Such a move was aimed at discrediting Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, who is the PKR adviser and widely regarded as the glue that binds the tripartite coalition together.

"There was an attempt to lure eight Parti Keadilan Rakyat MPs as a package. The offer began with RM10 million a person, but after negotiations it was raised to RM20million," Tanah Merah MP Amran Abdul Ghani told a press conference on Thursday.

Adilanclub: Children chained up at orphanage

AdilanClub:Breaking news, is the best for news

Photos of two children bound in chains at a government-run welfare home in China have shocked the nation, which has an estimated 712,000 orphans.

The pictures were taken during mealtime when both boys were locked up while eating. They depict Xiao Qun tethered to the back of an old wooden chair by a strip of cloth around his neck. Next to him is eight-year old Guo Cheng, whose right foot was tied to the same chair by an iron chain.

An anonymous staff member told the provincial daily Modern Gold News that the children were tied up after they kept running and playing in the rain, a day before. "They wet their clothing three times, prompting us to lock them up to stop them from going outside," said the staff.

AdilanClub: Also running AMOK are BN desperados - Umno, MCA and MIC

AdilanClub:Breaking news, is the best for news

Barisan Nasional’s two biggest component parties – Umno and MCA – are showing clear signs of desperation for fear of losing their mandate to rule.

MIC too is starting to show small signs of life but organizing rowdy fist-fights and suggesting lie-detector tests will not endear itself or BN to voters either.

After more than 50 years of governance, the three are clearly running amok – resorting to all sorts of dirty tricks, featuring lies, double talk, threats, violence and irrational political behaviour like influencing the police to selectively ignore the safety of duly elected representatives from the Opposition and the rakyat (citizens).

AdilanClub: Dr M is confused: KTAR diplomas recognised for "high quality" - MCA

AdilanClub:Breaking news, is the best for news

Remarks by ex-Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, claiming that the government recognized TARC diplomas in order to win votes is unwarranted.

That statement cannot possibly be accurate because the standards of TARC are very high, as proven by the success and high achievements of TARC students. This is a fact society has recognized and that no one can deny, including the former Prime Minister.

AdilanClub: Dr M starts to knock Najib: KTAR certs good only for getting votes for BN

AdilanClub:Breaking news, is the best for news

Malay “kebodohan (stupidity)” had resulted in a major ethnic group bowing down to demands of minority groups, which includes the government recognition of certificates by TARC (Tunku Abdul Rahman College), said former premier Mahathir Mohamad.

He said that the recognition is to get votes from the Chinese – indirectly hinting at Najib Abdul Razak, the PM (prime minister) whose popularity is sagging. What is MCA’s or Gerakan’s stand on this statement when UMNO expects these two parties to deliver Chinese votes for BN (Barisan Nasional)?

Does Mahathir who represents UMNO care about the thousands of poor students studying at TARC? These are students who could not get into any of the public higher institutions in the country.

AdilanClub: Good Man, Bad Sex: What Would You Do?

AdilanClub:Breaking news, is the best for news

Actress, Meagan Good recently wed studio executive, DeVon Franklin. Nothing noteworthy about an actress getting married, except the fact the newlyweds made it clear that they were waiting until their wedding night to have sex. It’s definitely a changed time because more people thought it was more ludicrous than virtuous. It begs the question whether, in this modern society with evolved notions of relationships between men and women, how important is sex?

The wedding sparked a discussion between one of my best sisterfriends and a brotherfriend regarding the issue of waiting until the wedding night. Surprisingly, my sisterfriend was the most adamant about it not being a good idea to wait. In her, words, “You wouldn’t buy a Mercedes without giving it a test run; sex is too important to a relationship not to know.” On the other hand, my brother-friend found it romantic and refreshingly traditional.

AdilanClub: Latest Umno-BN drama: Betty kicking & hitting, Guan Eng with plaster on forehead

AdilanClub:Breaking news, is the best for news

If MCA thought it could provoke DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng and his wife Betty Chew into a rash reaction by smearing them in the Malacca state assembly where Betty is the Kota Laksamana representative, they are wrong.

In fact, the failure of Duyong assemblyperson Gan Tian Loo to repeat his suggestions that a woman by the name of Ng Phaik Kheng was transferred from Guan Eng's office due to 'suspicious' reasons is starting to boomerang on the MCA.

“It is obvious that BN would do anything to reclaim Penang and attack DAP. It even used Gan to attack Chew, a female politician, to revive MCA’s reputation within the Chinese community,” 5 DAP assemblymen said in a joint statement.
