A popular high school student committed suicide after her cries for help to her hundreds of online friends were ignored.
Ashley Duncan, 17, wrote ‘I finally got a gun’ and then posted a picture of a revolver which, soon after, it isbelieved she used to shoot herself dead.

It followed a series of increasingly dark posts on Tumblr and Twitter where she talked of suicide, questioned the meaning of her life and said she was ‘miserable’.
Female Teacher, 25, Had Sex With Student, 17, Multiple Times After Becoming Facebook Friends
A former high school teacher has been charged with having sex with a 17-year-old student on ‘numerous occasions’.
Rachel Farrell, 25, is alleged to have carried out an extended affair with an 11th grade pupil she was teaching reading to at Bangor Area High School in Pennsylvania.
She has since resigned and has now been charged with three counts of corrupting a minor.
The case is the latest to concern a female teacher who has been jailed for, or accused of, having sex with a student.

A teenage student stabbed to death and dumped in a canal was groomed for sexual exploitation by adults from the age of 12, it has been revealed.
Laura Wilson, 17, had been tracked by social services since 2005 after she was identified as being ‘at risk’ of sexual exploitation by British Pakistani men.
But their work focused on other girls who were more closely associated with abusers in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
The white teenager was the victim of a cycle of sexual abuse and little was done to help her, Laura’s family have claimed.

'Girl, 17, on phone when van crash occurred'
THAILAND - A 17-year-old girl involved in a Bangkok expressway crash that killed nine people in a public van and injured several others last December could face another charge - using a cell-phone while driving.
The teenager is due to hear a decision by prosecutors about charges on June 23.
The girl already faces charges of reckless driving causing death and injury to others, which have been filed in court.
The prosecutor has allegedly found evidence that the accused, who can't be named because she is under 18, was using a cell-phone while driving, and has advised police investigators to file the charge of using a cell-phone while driving also.
For this charge, police could immediately fine the girl if she confesses to the allegation - as with the charge of driving without a licence. However, if the girl did not confess, investigators could pass it to prosecutor for consideration on whether to sue her for the additional charge.
