A middle school teacher is facing jail time after being accused of carrying out an inappropriate and distasteful relationship with her student.
Memorial Middle School’s Kathryn ‘Camille’ Murray, 28, was fired on February 13 after a three-year run at the school as an eighth grade Language Arts teacher, for having sex with her student.
According to Houston Press, the 15-year-old boy who was “in love” with Murray, invited her over while his parents were away on February 11; there, his 12-year-old brother found them in bed together around 11:50 PM.
The boy’s family secured a restraining order barring Murray from having any contact.
Murray was sent to the Harris County jail, where she is being held in lieu of $250,000 bond.
