Muslims celebrate Aidilfitri in joyous atmosphere

KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah hosted Aidilfitri open house at the Istana Negara here today.

The open house session for dignitaries was attended by Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor, Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and his wife Noorainee Abdul Rahman as well as cabinet ministers and foreign diplomats.

Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamed Ali, were also among the 500 guests who attended the open house.

Students run nude to celebrate graduation

A series of nude photos of graduates celebrating the end of university has caused a buzz on the Internet, the rednet.cn reported Friday.

In the photos, five graduates from Orient Science & Technology College of Hunan Agriculture University (OSTCHAU) ran nude on campus before leaving university.

Netizens on China’s major SNS websites such as Renren, Douban, and Sina’s Weibo (Chinese Twitter) forwarded the post thousands of times. Some were astonished while others praised the courage of running nude in public.

A professor of OSTCHAU acknowledged that the students are 2011 graduates, yet he refused to make any comment saying this is a "personal" thing.

Liu, one of the graduates, admitted to his "crazy nude running" online saying "We run in nude to mark our graduation, to make a memorable thing for our life, don’t panic."
