KUALA LUMPUR - A Malaysian self-confessed gay pastor is to marry his African-American partner soon.
Press reports stated that Rev Ou Yang Wen Feng (pic) was likely to wed the Broadway musical producer by the end of the month or early September with ceremonies planned in New York and Malaysia.
Ou Yang told AFP in an interview in Hong Kong that his partner had popped the question on June 26, two days after New York City legalised same-sex marriages.

Gay couple ties the knot in Batu Pahat

Unknown | 1:09 PM | | | | | Best Blogger Tips

BATU PAHAT - A lesbian couple, who had been dating for the past two years, has taken their relationship to a new level by undergoing a traditional wedding ceremony.

Thomas, 29, and Apple, 27, both property brokers, underwent a traditional Chinese tea ceremony at their home here at about 10am yesterday.

It is learnt that Thomas had proposed to Apple about two months ago.

They had also set up a Facebook page as a testament of their love.

However, both declined to be interviewed when contacted.

Checks on their Facebook fanpage revealed many messages posted in Chinese with over 656 “likes”.

A friend known as Wong Shally congratulated the newly-married couple and said that she wished she would be lucky enough to experience love like Thomas and Apple.

Another Facebook friend, Winny Chin, said that they were an example to other couples here.

Thomas and Apple’s Facebook page also features a pre-wedding photo shoot album entitled “The happiest lesbians” and several pictures of their wedding ceremony itself.

Gay Weddings: NY says I do

Unknown | 5:30 AM | | | | Best Blogger Tips

Mark Erson knew he wanted to marry Scott Jordan shortly after the pair first met in high school in the 1980s.
"He was so funny, handsome and kind," Erson says. At the time it seemed like a ridiculous dream: "No one was even out when I was at school."
It's taken more than 30 years but tomorrow the impossible will happen when New York becomes the latest – and largest – US state to allow same sex couples to marry.
For Erson, 51, it's a double blessing. He is the newly appointed reverend of St John's Lutheran Church on Christopher Street in the heart of the historically gay West Village and a stone's throw from The Stonewall Inn, which is seen by many as the birthplace of the gay rights movement.
