The 29-year-old former junkie who is serving time for burglary and a firearm offence pledged his eternal love for the star.
"I'm beyond inconsolable ... " Fielder-Civil told The Sun.
"My tears won't dry."
"I will never ever again feel the love I felt for her".
"Everybody who knew me and knew Amy knew the depth of our love. I can't believe she's dead."
Prison staff have been ordered to monitor Fielder Civil closely who is said to still be "shocked and stunned" by Amy's untimely death.
Just weeks before her passing Amy told close friends that Fielder-Civil was the only one that could save her.
Amy Winehouse was married to the one time music video runner for two years before filing for divorce in January 2009.
The prisoner of Leeds Armley Jail has been granted special compassionate visit from girlfriend and mother of his child Jack, Sarah Aspin.
Star lay for six hours before she was found
Winehouse may have been dead for up to six hours before her body was discovered lying in bed.
The star last spoke to her security team six hours before she was found at home in Camden, North London, and medics said she'd been dead for several hours, The Sun reports.
And police sources told the paper there was no evidence of drugs in her apartment.
The paper also reported Winehouse was given the all-clear when her doctor examined her the night before her death.
Another source told The Sun: "The doctor was happy with her condition. When he left on Friday night he had no concerns."
Security guard Andrew Morris found Winehouse's body about 4pm local time, the report said.
It is claimed she bought narcotics including cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine.
But the singer's family labelled the claims "nonsense", The Sun reported.
She is also thought to have been drinking heavily, which may have been the trigger of a lethal concoction of drugs and alcohol.
A source told The People newspaper: "Amy seemed determined to have a big one on Friday night.
"She was out in Camden on Friday evening, but seemed determined to carry on the party back at her flat.
"None of us know who was with her into the early hours of Saturday. But getting out of it was clearly her main priority of the night."
