THE raging killer of Damilola Taylor screamed and fought 20 cops trying to take him back to jail.


Maddened Ricky Preddie, 24, fled out of a bail hostel window to escape being recalled to prison after just 16 days' freedom.
Onlookers said he was "screaming his head off" and put up a fight before he was overpowered and bundled into a van.

THE corrupt businessman who sold toxic breast implants was charged last night after two months on the run.

Jean-Claude Mas, 72, was accused of unintentional wounding — and then FREED on bail of 100,000 euros (£83,000).
He had been arrested during a dramatic police raid on the £1million villa he shares with "companion" Dominique Lucciardi, 66, in the South of France.
Mas also faces a manslaughter inquiry and could be sued by hundreds of women across 65 countries who suffered cancer and ruptures after having breast implants.

The participants are stopped from doing any action, including making noise or make any signals that would disrupt the court proceedings.
The police today announced a set of conditions for the organisers and participants of the “901 Free Anwar” rally to be held at the Jalan Duta court complex parking lot next Monday.
A posting on the PDRM official Facebook page listed the 10-point conditions.

Three men have been detained by police under Sectio
Police arrested three men, including a reporter from Suara Keadilan, earlier this morning. They were caught spray painting graffiti believed to be connected to Prime Minister’s wife Rosmah Mansor and the ‘Free Anwar 901′ rally.
The three, said to be journalist Sidiqin Omar, and bloggers Mohd Fiqtriey al-Haqimiey @ Kecik, and Ahmad Husni, were hauled up by police at about 6.30am for ‘spray painting’ .
Brickfields district police chief Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abdul Khalid confirmed the arrest of three men.

They are usually criticized for their grilling of suspects, but ten police officers from Dongguan in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong have come under fire after being seen barbecuing a cat in front of the city's public security bureau.
Members of the public told the local Southern Metropolis Daily that they saw smoke rising from among a crowd of police officers on the street and were surprised to see them cooking a cat on an improvised barbecue.

PETALING JAYA: A snatch theft and the slowness of the police to act have left a consumer activist seething, but have also inspired him to start a crime-reporting volunteer service.
The snatch happened last Wednesday morning at the Sungai Kayu Ara Shell station and the victim happened to be his wife.
Consumers Association of Subang and Shah Alam (CASSA) president Jacob George said his wife was pumping air into her car tyres when two men on a motorcycle reached over and opened one of the doors of the car, grabbed her handbag and made a quick getaway.

Cops confirm motive for man splashed with acid

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 22, 2011): Police have identified jealousy as the motive for a man to be splashed with acid at Wisma Bumi Raya, Jalan Raja Laut, last Aug 8.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Khalid Abu Bakar said the motive was discovered after police questioned the victim's acquaintance who was detained last Saturday.
He said the victim's acquaintance, who was in the car with the victim when the incident occurred, had been remanded for five days since yesterday.
"The motive is believed jealousy over a lover," he told reporters after launching the 24th Ops Sikap and Safe House Campaign here today.
In the Aug 8 incident, Mohd Rafie Abdul Latif, 27, was splashed with acid by a man while he was in his car near Wisma Bumi Raya.
The assailant had opened the car door, splashed the liquid which caused burns on the victim's face, and escaped in a car with two accomplices.
Mohd Rafie sought treatment at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
In a related development, Khalid said police welcomed measure by the local authorities to install camera at strategic locations to prevent crime.

IGP Ismail Omar vows to reveal the findings of the special committees tasked with probing allegations of police brutality. The videos will also be made public.

KUALA LUMPUR: Investigations into allegations of police brutality during the July 9 Bersih 2.0 rally are almost completed and the findings, including videos, will be made public soon, said Inspector-General of Police Ismail Omar.
He said as soon as the six special committees formed to look into the various allegations have submitted their reports, he will make the findings public.
