Perkasa warns Muslims away from Bersih 3.0

KUALA LUMPUR, April 6 — Perkasa Youth has warned Muslims against attending Bersih’s rally for free and fair elections on April 28 as it is led by Datuk Ambiga Sreenavasan, whom it labelled the “anti-Christ for Muslims” and a “traitor” to the nation.

The wing’s chief, Irwan Fahmi Ideris, told The Malaysian Insider that the former Bar Council president has taken her fight too far, alleging that she was “again” showing clear disrespect to the country’s Muslims by staging this latest protest.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 — MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek should ban party members from attending events organised by Malay rights group Perkasa, Lim Guan Eng said today. 

The DAP secretary-general said allowing MCA members to join in on such events not only proved the Barisan Nasional (BN) component party’s links to Perkasa but lent the group legitimacy despite its alleged “racist and extremist” character. 

“How can Chua and MCA claim to defend the interests of Malaysian Chinese when their members and supporters can go to Perkasa functions that breed hate against non-Malays in the country and want to reduce them to second-class or third-class citizens? 

Perkasa: Affirmative action for all, but 30pc Bumi quota remains

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 29 — Perkasa declared today it supports needs-based affirmative action but insists that the 30 per cent quota for Malays and Bumiputeras remains in place as they are still lagging behind economically.

“If there is still a wide income disparity between the Bumiputeras and other races in the future, this can affect the country’s security,” Perkasa president Datuk Ibrahim Ali said despite 40 years of pro-Bumiputera affirmative action under the New Economic Policy (NEP).

But the Pasir Mas MP also pledged that the Malay rights NGO will fight to make sure all races are not economically disadvantaged.

The Perkasa president went through great pains to state that his organisation is not racist, and that it generally supports a “needs-based” affirmative action for all Malaysians, especially the poor.

“Perkasa’s struggle is based on the tenets of the Constitution, the country’s social contract. It does not mean we are racist.

Perkasa: The saviour of the Malays

SATIRE Perkasa is right. Malays need help. We still got problems cannot solve. Until solved not wise to implement meritoclacy. Malays in this country is 60%, chinese only 25% and Indians 7%. The rest are bumiputras from east Malaysia and new citizens from Indonesia, Bangladesh, Cambodia etc.

We implore non Malays please understand. It’s true, we still weak, need more crutches until one day we can stand on two feet. Before government develop towns and cities. Non malays mostly stay cities and benefit from government. Also before, government help chinese businessmen, as cannot trust Malay entrepreunership, so today chinese in Malaysia many millioniares, even top five richest in Malaysia is Chinese!!

Perkasa boss slams ‘old cow’ Kit, ‘rich’ Khairy

PETALING JAYA: Perkasa president Ibrahim Ali lashed out at DAP stalwart Lim Kit Siang, calling the veteran politician an “old cow”.

He also took the “rich” Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin to task, and welcomed the latter’s call on the police to investigate him under the Sedition Act.

Khairy had urged the police to investigate Ibrahim following his comments on Sunday after the Perkasa boss launched Gerak Aman to counter the Bersih 2.0 rally scheduled for July 9.

During the launch, Ibrahim had warned the Chinese to stock up on food since anything could happen on that day.

His remarks also irked Lim, who criticised the authorities for not acting against Ibrahim.

Commenting on this, the Perkasa boss said: “I am very proud to hear the criticisms from Lim. I feel that I am great.”

“To me, he (Lim) is like an ‘old cow’ that wouldn’t have tender meat even after boiling. We know who Lim is since May 13,” he added, referring to the racial riots which took place in 1969.

In rebuking Khairy, Ibrahim questioned why Umno Youth was holding a rally without support from MCA, MIC and Gerakan Youth wings.

“He is BN Youth leader in name only,” he mocked.

Khairy had announced last week that Umno Youth would also hold a peaceful assembly on July 9 to submit proposals for reforming the elections.

“Umno Youth’s assembly without a police permit is also against the law. Is Khairy willing to do that or is it just a gimmick?” asked Ibrahim.

‘He became rich fast’

The Perkasa boss also accused Khairy of assuming the duties of the inspector-general of police.

“Why doesn’t Khairy instruct the police to investigate the allegations of money politics against himself that was levelled by the Umno disciplinary committee and his role in ECM Libra?

“It will be good to investigate Khairy because he became rich in a short time during the administration of his father-in-law (Abdullah Ahmad Badawi) as prime minister,” he said.

Ibrahim also criticised Khairy for suggesting on Twitter that the Langkawi International Dialogue (LID) be called off because Malaysia invited Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe.

Ibrahim speculated that the call was made because LID was led by former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, a staunch critic of Khairy during Abdullah’s tenure.

Tapi jihad untuk semua orang Islam

PETALING JAYA: Presiden Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia (Perkasa) Datuk Ibrahim Ali mengesahkan kenyataan Naib Presiden Umno, Datuk Seri Hishammudin Hussein bahawa pertubuhan itu  tidak mewakili semua orang Melayu.

“Perkasa mewakili ahli Perkasa saja. Melayu sudah terbahagi kepada beberapa kumpulan. Melayu PAS dan Melayu PKR jadi perkakas DAP,manakala Melayu Umno dan Melayu liberal.

“Apa yang saya kata adalah peringatan. Kalau ada pihak yang terus mencabar kedudukan Islam,menghina Islam,memperlekeh bahasa kebangsaan, menidak hak keistimewaan orang Melayu dan mempersenda institusi Raja,maka saya,walaupun seorang, sebagai orang Melayu Islam, saya akan berjihad

Beliau berkata sedemikian sebagai mengulas kenyataan Hishammuddin selepas merasmikan mesyuarat perwakilan Umno bahagian Sungai Besar kelmarin.

Hishammuddin mengatakan bahawa Ibrahim dan Perkasa tidak mewakili semua orang Melayu.

“Kalau kita mahu kepada keamanan,maka jangan cabar posisi, kedaulatan dan martabat Islam dan umat Melayu Islam yg merupakan majoriti dan ketuanan asal rakyat negara Persekutuan Tanah Melayu dan kini Malaysia,” tambah Ibrahim.

Beliau turut mempersoalkan mengapa tiada kecaman terhadap pelbagai tuntutan yang bertentangan dengan Artikel 152 Perlembagaan Persekutuan yang dibuat dalam pelancaran pusat kebudayaan dan pelajaran Lim Liam Geok pada minggu lalu.

“Kenapa ada pihak berdiam diri dan tidak mengecam,mengutuk atau buat laporan polis apabila diadakan pertemuan melancar penubuhan pusat budaya dan pelajaran Lim (yang telah dilucut kerakyatan 40 tahun lalu) yang dihadiri lebih 600 orang dari 80 NGO minggu lalu dengan menuntut berbagai tuntutan yang bertentangan dengan undang-undang fasal 152 (2).

“Bila saya bercakap sikit mempertahankan Islam dan maruah Melayu sudah riuh rendah. Saya bertanggungjawab penuh atas apa yang saya cakap,sbagai peringatan, kalau kita semua mahu pastikan keamanan kekal,” jelas beliau.

Ketika ditanya ulasan berkaitan perbandingan Hishammuddin antara beliau dengan ketua Al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden beliau berkata perjuangan Osama tidak melalui pilihan raya.

“Tapi saya kagumi semangat perjuangannya menentang kezaliman Israel dan Amerika serta sekutunya.”

Bila ditanya sama ada Perkasa akan merekrut ahli untuk berjihad, ahli parlimen bebas Pasir Mas ini berkata soal merekrut tidak timbul.

“Jihad adalah kewajipan setiap orang Islam apabila Islam dicabar atau dihina dan tidak payah jadi ahli Perkasa untuk berjihad.”
