'Missing' student found in gay wedding

A Malaysian reported missing in Ireland, has been found - after he married a man in a grand gay wedding.

Ariff Alfian Rosli went to study medicine at University College Dublin in 2003 under a Petronas sponsorship programme.

He stopped all contact with his family in Malaysia three years ago.

His father Rosli Haron lodged missing person reports with the police, Wisma Putra, the Irish and Malaysian embassies in both countries.

A lonely and sad gay wedding

Mark and An An have become the first gay couple to get married in Shenzhen, China.

"I'm marrying him, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, I will respect him forever," the pair took their marriage vows separately last week.

A wedding banquet was also held for the guests but to their disappointment, only five people attended the event even though they had booked dinner for 50 guests.
