MANILA, Philippines -- The sultanate of Sulu brushed off President Benigno Aquino III’s allegations “conspirators” funded the voyage of some 200 followers who went to Sabah to press its claim to the territory.
The voyage was “KKB,” short for “kaniya-kaniyang bayad,” meaning everyone who went paid contributed towards expenses, Abraham Idjirani, spokesman of the sultanate, said at a press briefing Monday afternoon.
