A 15-year-old girl in Indonesia was raped almosr daily and forced to use meth when she was held captive for 11 days by an acquaintance.
Jakarta Regional Police Head of Mobile Investigation Unit II, Comm. Ardianto Tedjo Baskoro, said that the victim met with the male acquaintance on Aug 24 at Bogor Trade Mall. "Since then the victim did not return to her parents' house," said Ardianto.
Her mother immediately searched for her at the homes of relatives and the man's close friends, but she was nowhere to be found. Later she received a text message informing that her daughter was in Kampung Ambon, West Jakarta.
Later the girl's mother reported the case to the Jakarta Police, suspecting her daughter was kidnapped.
"We finally captured the man in a rented house in Bogor," he added.
According to Ardianto, the man likes young girls to satisfy him sexually.
"The victim was expected to be willing to have sex. She was given meth that was bought in Kampung Ambon," he explained.
For 11 days of captivity, the girl was forced to satisfy his lust almost every day.
"Almost every day she was forced to have sexual intercourse. Each time could last for four hours," said Ardianto.
When found in the man's rented house, the girl was still high on methamphetamine.
The suspect was charged with Article 333 of the Criminal Code on deprivation of personal freedom and faces a penalty of over 15 years in prison.
"The perpetrator may also be charged under the Narcotics and Children’s Protection Act," he said.
