If found guilty he faces 10 years' jail and liable to fine under Section 307(1) of the Penal Code.
Earlier, DPP Nur Hafizah Rajuni applied to the court to not allow bail for the accused.
"But should he be allowed bail, it should not be less than RM15,000 with an additional conditions that the alleged victim is not harassed by the accused or his family and that he must report to the nearest police station," she submitted.
Counsel M.K. Thas representing the accused submitted to the court to consider a reasonable bail amount as the latter was not from a rich family and his uncle who worked at a security firm could only furnish RM8,000 as surety.
The judge set bail at RM12,000 in one surety and fixed Feb 21 for re-mention.
The court ordered Osleh to report to the nearest police station once a month, and further imposed a restraining order on him to stay away from the alleged victim and her family and prosecution witnesses.
