KUALA LUMPUR, March 8 — The massive traffic jams that hit the Klang Valley this morning due to the overnight downpour are slowly easing, returning the city to a semblance of normalcy.

On Twitter, the PLUS highway authorities reported that traffic at the Sungai Besi toll plaza from Bandar Saujana Putra heading to the city centre had returned to normal at 1.16pm.

But traffic from Sunway to the Federal Highway was moving very slowly, PLUS tweeted on its LLMinfotrafik account at 1.14pm.
