VIENNA - Commuters taking a metro train in Vienna early this week were in for a rude shock - or a pleasant surprise, depending on how you want to see it.
A woman wearing nothing but a pair of knee-high boots and a smile boarded the train and stood in the middle of the carriage for many stops.
If that stunned the passengers, they were in for more when she happily posed for anyone who wanted to take a picture of her in her birthday suit, the Daily Mail reported.

Men were quick to take out cameras or their mobile phones and happily clicked as the woman lapped up all the attention.
A passenger, who was in the same carriage as the woman, told the Austrian Times: "I couldn't believe it when she stepped on the train and when some people grabbed their mobile telephones and started taking pictures, she didn't object. In fact, she even seemed to be posing for the camera."
She calmly got off the train a few stops later without saying a word.
The metro train company is looking at CCTV footage of the woman, now dubbed the Vienna Venus, not for admiring her but for the purpose of identifying her.
The Austrian media has also started its own campaign to identify her.
Her full-frontal picture has been published in several Vienna newspapers, who are asking readers to identify her. One publication has even offered to feature the woman in a photo shoot - provided she identifies herself and reveals her reasons for her stunt.
While the woman's actions have surprised many, most seemed more concerned with the fact that she chose to bare all during snowfall and freezing temperatures in Vienna.
A spokesman for Wiener Linien, a public transport company, told the Austrian Times: "We know that everyone has a different perception of temperature.
"We do not believe that it is so warm in our subways that you have to undress."
