Nazri, are you protecting the A-G because he didn't prosecute your son

Unknown | 6:41 PM | | | Best Blogger Tips

Minister in Prime Minister's Department Nazri Aziz has no business to interfere in MACC’s investigations. Do not hit below the belt of the officers as they do not have the recourse to rebut you – STOP BEING A BULLY.

The de facto law minister Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz has no business interfering in Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC)’s investigations. Nazri is just a parliamentarian and a Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in charge of Parliament’s administration and also to coordinate parliamentary affairs.

His job is to kick the butts in Parliament, not use political powers to bully MACC officials who have the courage to fight corruption. Nazri has no standing to tell MACC deputy chief Shukri Abdull how to run or manage anti-corruption cases and to belittle him as “weak”.

"Dangerous" for BN ministers to declare assets: Nazri ridiculed for "worst excuse" ever

Unknown | 5:33 PM | | | | | | Best Blogger Tips

As expected, recent calls for top political leaders to declare their assets have struck fear into the hearts of BN Cabinet ministers, who are perceived to be among the richest but most corrupt people in the country.
Nazr Aziz, the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, was obviously tasked to knock down the suggestions from Transparency International, the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission as well as the examples set by the Pakatan Rakyat state governments in Selangor and Penang.
For defending the indefensible, Nazri was ridiculed for insisting that revealing the assets of ministers and their immediate family to the public "may endanger them".

Nazri: Free Anwar rally an attempt to influence the court

Unknown | 4:38 PM | | | | | Best Blogger Tips

Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz accused organisers of tomorrow’s rally in support of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of trying to influence the verdict of the opposition leader’s sodomy trial.
The minister in the prime minister’s department said that he disagreed with the police’s decision to allow the assembly to take place.
“This is something that has never been done before in any other country, where people assemble and protest against a court which is about to make a decision. To me it is an attempt to influence the court to make a decision to favour Anwar.
“You cannot allow popularity to exist in our legal system because what will happen is that those who are popular will never get convicted by the court,” the de facto law minister was quoted as saying by The Star.
PKR deputy president Azmin Ali is leading a march tomorrow which he says will amass over 100,000 people in support of the party’s de facto leader.

Polls reform panel: Najib, Nazri making a mockery of Parliament

Unknown | 4:18 PM | | | | | Best Blogger Tips

PAS today accused top BN leaders of insulting Parliament with their flippant attitude toward the recently announced select committee on electoral reform.
"Both Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and de facto Law Minister Nazri Aziz have insulted the august House," PAS vice-president Mahfuz Omar said.
Najib was being flippant toward the committee, he said, by declaring that the government was not bound to wait for the committee to complete its duties prior to the next general election, and had blatantly insulted Parliament with this statement.

Arrogant Nazri does it again: Who's Bersih, why should we consult?

Unknown | 2:01 AM | | | Best Blogger Tips

Known for his arrogance, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Nazri Aziz has put his foot in his mouth again. This time his target is popular polls watchdog Bersih, which has asked to be included in the Parliamentary Select Committee for electoral reforms.
"We don't consult Bersih, I don't know who is Bersih," Nazri told reporters on Wednesday.
Nazri also slammed Bersih for not knowing its place, saying it had no right to issue ultimatums including setting deadlines for the PSC to complete its task.

Nazri should stop lying and the govt should stop covering up : Robert Phang

Unknown | 2:31 AM | | | | | | | Best Blogger Tips

The public outrage over Dato’ Seri Nazri Aziz’s letter dated 8th August is justified. It is unprecedented and wrong for the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office to direct all Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) to withdraw their civil suits against former MAS Chairman, Tan Sri Tajuddin Ramli. I find it very appalling that a Minister of Nazri’s seniority and status can direct GLCs to withdraw their claims against Tajuddin Ramli which means allowing him to get away with billions of ringgit in debt or RAKYAT MONEY
Nazri’s immediate back pedaling by attempting to say that his letter was only an “advice” and not a”directive” or “instruction” by itself shows that Nazri knew that he had made a grave error. Now that Malaysia Today has posted Nazri’s letter, it clearly shows that Nazri had lied. To make a mistake is one thing, but to lie in order to cover up for that mistake makes it worse.
