HE was cool, calm and unruffled. Looking at him, one would never have thought that he had murdered his girlfriend just a few days earlier.

But one thing former Federal Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Fauzi Shaari learnt following his interview with the late inspector Saderi Abdul Samat 32 years ago, was to "never judge a book by its cover".

Cop found guilty of causing Aminulrasyid's death

SHAH ALAM - The Sessions Court here has found Kpl Jenain Subi guilty of causing the death of 15-yr-old Aminulrasyid Amzah.

Sessions Court judge Latifah Mohd Tahar later sentenced Kpl Jenain (pic)to five years in jail but allowed stay of execution pending appeal by the defendant.

Kpl Jenain, 48, was charged with causing Aminulrasyid's death between 1.10am and 2am on April 26, last year, at Jalan Tarian 11/2, Section 11 here.

He was charged under Section 304(a) of the Penal Code which carries a jail sentence of up to 30 years and a fine.

On Feb 28, the court ordered Kpl Jenain to enter his defence after ruling that the prosecution had succeeded in proving a prima facie against him.

Cop: Use of excessive force was wrong

There were special police teams who were already targeting those leaders behind the rally, such as Bersih chairman S Ambiga, says a policeman.

KUALA LUMPUR: The police force has been denying the use of violence during the Bersih 2.0 march on July 9. But among them is one lone voice who condemned the use of violence on the protesters.

A brave policeman said the use of excessive force when arresting Bersih 2.0 marchers was uncalled for and wrong.

The policeman who was in charge of making arrest spoke to FMT on condition of anonymity.
