SINGAPORE- Sealing an agreement with sex. Singapore currently finds itself wracked with scandal over sex corruption in the Southeast Asian city-state after the chief narcotics official reportedly used sex to get deals.

The women, who hold senior positions, allegedly exchanged sexual favours for “advancing the business interest” of their companies in IT-related tenders.

Legal experts in the country say the women themselves could face criminal charges, but for many women, especially businesswomen in the country, using one’s body for business has become more commonplace than many Singaporeans want to admit.

Her World asked 148 women who their dream guy was, quizzing them on everything from his looks to spending power, and guess what - good cooks and geeks scored.

When it comes to his crowning glory, he sports:

It looked like a regular shopping outing among girlfriends.

For about an hour, three women in their mid- to late 30s tried on up to 20 dresses at a Chinatown shop on Pagoda Street.

After all that, the women bought just one dress costing $160.

But after they left, the shop owner discovered that six dresses, each also worth about $160, had disappeared along with them.

Madam Qin Yong Juan, 34, said the stolen dresses were designs that the women had tried on and were in sizes suitable for them.

The outfits were also the most expensive pieces in the store.

Madam Qin said in Mandarin: "About five to 10 minutes after they left, my assistant, who had been serving them, noticed that there were several empty hangers on the racks.

An eye tracking study by a French laboratory, conducted in seven countries, presented an image of an attractive woman to both men and women to discover where their eyes went.

Three Zimbabwe women have appeared in court charged with indecent assault for a spree of sex attacks on male hitchhikers and using their victims' semen for undisclosed rituals, police said on Saturday.

Women groups protest massage-cum-sex centres

PETALING JAYA - A group of women NGOs is outraged over the rising number of massage parlours in Selangor, saying these vice dens have caused much heartbreak to many families.

They said innocent lives had been affected when husbands, fathers and even sons became regulars of the illicit services offered at some of the outlets.

“Many families have been affected by the mushrooming of these massage centres.

“Money that is meant for the family is spent on unnecessary activities,” beautician and Malaysian Beauty Therapy Association president Datin Clara Chee said.

Teenagers, she said, were also being lured to such places.

“Family values are affected and this is bad for the moral fibre of society,” she said yesterday.

Chee was joined by representatives from the Federation of Kwang Tung Associations (Women Section), Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Hua Zong), the Malaysian Chinese Women Entrepreneurs Foundation, Malaysia Hindu Sangam and several other groups.

The Federation of Kwang Tung Associations (Women Section), which was represented by Chong Moi Heong, said it was high time the state government drew the line and regulate the licence holders and clamp down on illegal operators.

“If this does not happen, it may lead to serious social problems,” she said.

Last month, The Star exclusively reported that massage centres and reflexology outlets were just a front for masseuses who offered sexual favours for between RM50 and RM150.

These vice dens can be found throughout Selangor.

The Selangor Government has denied issuing new licences since 2008.

However, many operators of these places had set up business complete with signboards to advertise their supposedly legitimate services.

State Local Government Committee chairman Ronnie Liu said only 60 massage and foot reflexology centres in Selangor had been issued licences, with most of them in Ampang Jaya.

However, Wanita MCA secretary-general Senator Chew Lee Giok claimed last week that there were about 220 massage centres in Petaling Jaya alone.

Do Women Prefer Men With Flashy Cars?

You've probably heard the popular maxim explaining men's obsession with cars -- how they view their automobile as an extension of their, erm, manhood. Freudian babble? Perhaps, but are flashy wheels really a sex symbol? Are women more attracted to a man who, say, drives a Porsche than a guy with a Honda Civic?

The answer is yes, but the appeal won't necessarily last, says a new study published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.

The study found that women view men who flaunt expensive sports cars more desirable as a date -- but not necessarily as marriage material. The women in the study also took the fancy wheels to mean the man was looking for no-strings-attached sex.

The research by Rice University, the University of Texas-San Antonio and the University of Minnesota, titled "Peacocks, Porsches and Thorstein Veblen: Conspicuous Consumption as a Sexual Signaling System", was conducted with 1,000 men and women on their attitudes toward 'flashy' spending and sexual attraction.

And much like how peacocks flaunt their brilliant feathers to attract mates, some men use 'flashy' possessions to charm potential dates, the researchers found. "They're the ones driving the bright colored sports car," says co-author Vladas Griskevicius, assistant professor of marketing at the University of Minnesota.

So a shiny Porsche is a display of wealth, and the guy behind the wheel is really sending the evolutionary message that he's able to provide. But interestingly, women don't necessarily see him as a good husband material. In fact, when women choose a long-term partner, a guy who owns a fancy sports car holds no advantage relative to another man owning an economy car.

Why? It's believed that women who are looking for long-term commitments may be turned off by a guy's lavish spending on himself, preferring the male to invest in the family and children instead.

"People may feel that owning flashy things makes them more attractive as a relationship partner, but in truth, many men might be sending women the wrong message," says co-author Daniel Beal, assistant professor of psychology at Rice.

Women Receives Visitors Looking for Sex – After Ex-Husband’s New Wife Places Sex Ad in HER Name

A woman says she was put in danger over Craigslist by her ex-husband’s new wife.

She says out of the blue strange men were showing up at her door.

It turns out all it takes is someone with a grudge and an internet connection to send strangers to your home.

Bradenton Police say Natasha Larson used a fake e-mail account to lure men looking for sex over to another woman’s house. Not just any woman. It was her husband’s ex wife.

A few keystrokes and the damage was done on Craigslist.

“I wouldn’t do this to my worst enemy in the world,” the victim said.

She’s been through too much to show her face on television.

It all began with an internet ad that police say was made by 34-year old Natasha Larson. She allegedly posted the victim’s phone number and address on a craigslist ad in the “women seeking men” section.

Officers tracked the ad to Larson’s computer IP address. Bradenton police shared a transcript.

“It read ‘hi my name is so and so. I’m currently dating a decent man who lacking some skills in the bedroom. It’s nice but I need to be thrown around a little bit and to be dominated. That is exciting for me,” said Lt. John Affoltor.

The fake ad claimed the victim’s boyfriend approved of men just stopping by or calling for sex.

“There was a text from one guy and a phone call from another guy, and I didn’t know them. I didn’t have any clue who they were,” the victim said.

She says strangers were walking up to the house and knocking on the door with explicit expectations. And not just once. It happened so many times she put a sign on the door saying go away.

“I have my two children and my boyfriend’s daughter,” she said.

She says her children are Larson’s own stepchildren, two young teenage girls who could have been home alone when the men arrived.

“It’s frightening to know that somebody could do that to there own husband’s children… I don’t know why. I don’t know why,” she said.

She quickly figured out how it happened after one of the men who texted her explained where he got her number.

“To protect yourself in this type situation is very difficult. You really can’t control it. You’re really a helpless victim,” Affoltor said.

Police say if you ever get a mysterious text or email it’s important to save it to speed up an investigation.

If you’re thinking pulling a stunt like this, be aware that even after you delete info on your computer, it’s trackable by police.

As for Larson, she bonded out of jail charged with felony grade identity theft.

Police say she may face other charges, including aggravated stalking.
