ULIM - Police are questioning four primary school boys, aged 10 to 13, for allegedly raping a 7-year-old girl recently.
Bandar Baru district police chief Deputy Superintendent Helmi Aris said investigations were ongoing.
The boys were picked up on Oct 13.
It was understood that one of the boys asked the girl, who was playing with a friend at a playground, to follow them to a shed about 2km from her parents' house on Oct 8.
The girl's parents only knew about the incident about a week later from her teachers when one of the boys told his classmates about the incident.
On the day she was allegedly raped, her parents were attending to their youngest child, who was hospitalised at Kulim Hospital.
Her father lodged a report at the Serdang police station in Kedah.
