Man sliced open girlfriend's breasts to get back implants he paid for

A FORMER Gold Coast security guard is on trial for allegedly slicing open his exotic dancer girlfriend's breasts to retrieve the silicone implants he paid for.

Darryelle Arthur Dixon, 44, is charged with the unlawful wounding and unlawful disfigurement of his former lover.

Crown prosecutor Isaac Munsie told a Southport District Court jury Mr Dixon had a history of 'brutal violence' towards his former partner and after one ugly argument had even cut off her hair extensions, which he had also paid for.

‘Luxury condo purchased with NFC money’

Are cows sleeping in this condominium? This is the question posed by a PKR MP with regard to the controversy surrounding the National Feedlot Corporation, which is run by a minister's family.

Continuing its attack on the National Feedlot Centre (NFC), PKR today alleged that taxpayers’ money allocated for the company was used to buy a luxury condominium worth RM9.8 million in upmarket Bangsar.

The money for the condo unit at One Menerung, Bangsar, was supposedly taken from the RM81 million given by NFC as a loan to the National Livestock and Meats Corporation (NLMC), a subsidiary contracted as its marketing development agent, PKR said.

Both the NFC and NLMC are owned and operated by the husband and children of Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, the Womens Affair and Family Development Minister.

35% of rural Brazilian men have sex with animals

A new study has found that 35 per cent of men from rural Brazil have had sex with an animal.

A total of 492 men took part in the study ranging in age from 18 to 80 years old.

A team of urologists from centres around Brazil were involved in the research project, which looked at risk factors for penile cancer in men.

 And it found that men who had sex with animals during their lifetimes were twice as likely to develop cancer of the penis as others. 

Is the EPF being looted?

On the 23^rd of June 2011, the EPF (KWSP) tabled its annual report to the parliament, declaring a 5.8% dividend and explained that 27% of its investments were in Malaysian Government Securities (MGS) and 32% were in loans and bonds to Govt agencies. A simple chart below summarises the report. At RM 440.52 billion, the EPF is one of the largest funds in the world and represents the life time savings of 12 million private sector employees.

The question is why is it that over 60% of EPF funds are in loans to the Govt and Govt bodies? Is the Malaysian Government a good borrower?

Prosecutors seek 15 years for flamboyant Citibank manager

Former senior manager of Citibank Malinda Dee began her trial for allegedly embezzling more than Rp 44 billion (S$6.28 million) from the bank's premium clients on Tuesday.

Prosecutors are seeking a maximum 15-year jail term for her.

Prosecutor Tatang Sutarna said in his indictment that the former senior manager at Citibank had violated Law No. 10/1999 on banking and Law No. 8/2010 on money laundering.

"The defendant allegedly siphoned off Rp 27 billion and US$2 million between 2007 and 2010," Tatang said.

The prosecutor said that Malinda received the money from 117 illegal transactions, 64 of which were processed in local currency and 53 of which were in US dollars.

Najib's 28-year-old son stirs up a tsunami in the stock market

Shares in once-ailing timber firm, Harvest Court Industries Bhd, rose to a nine-year high Mohd Nazifuddin Najib, the 28-year-old son of Prime Minister Najib Razak, emerged as a shareholder in the company.

The stock jumped 30.5 sen to RM1.18 on Tuesday, while the warrants rose by 30 sen a piece to close at RM1.05. The PN17 status slapped on Harvest since December 2009 was finally lifted the end of October, 2011.

"Market thrives on speculation and it is no harm for retailers to take a punt or two but be very careful, especially when it comes to PN17 or ailing firms revived solely by political interest," a research director at a large brokerage told Malaysia Chronicle.

"Scomi shares had also jumped miraculously when Abdullah Badawi was taking over from Mahathir Mohamad. But there are no such things as guaranteed profits. Cronies and the families of the political leaders should actually refrain from using their status to drive up speculative interest in their stock. This is not bad practice."

Hookers, drugs and cock fights in prison

Authorities say a surprise search at a prison in Acapulco, Mexico,  prison netted two peacocks, 100 fighting cocks, 19 prostitutes and two sacks filled with marijuana.

Police in the Mexican resort city also found dozens of televisions, several bottles of alcohol and knives.

Guerrero state spokesman Arturo Martinez says federal and state police searched the prison before dawn on Monday.

Martinez didn’t say how the women, birds and the other banned objects got into the prison but he referred to the peacocks as "pets."

The resort city has been plagued by crime since last year when gangs began fighting for control after the arrest of Edgar Valdez Villarreal, also known as "La Barbie."

Hospital throws away newborn by mistake

A hospital in South China's Guangdong province hs mistakenly diagnosed a premature baby as stillborn and threw him away.

The issue has stoked public anger and stirred a new round of debate regarding the country's hospital management system.

Liu Dongmei, 22, gave birth to a baby boy in the 32nd week of her pregnancy with the help of two nurses at Nanhai Red Cross Hospital in Foshan Oct 26.

The baby was believed to be not breathing or crying and the skin had turned purple.

Actress Lindsay Lohan, who served hours behind bars on Sunday for violating probation on drunken driving and theft charges, will appear in the pages of Playboy next month, the men’s magazine and Lohan’s spokesman confirmed yesterday.

“Lindsay Lohan will be featured in Playboy’s January/February issue, which hits newsstands in late December,” Playboy said in a statement.

Former heavyweight champion Frazier dies at 67

WASHINGTON, Nov 8 — Joe Frazier, the relentless slugger who became the heavyweight champion of the world and earned boxing immortality with three epic battles against Muhammad Ali, died yesterday at age 67, his personal manager said.

“Smokin’ Joe” Frazier, who was the first boxer to beat Ali, died in Philadelphia a month after being diagnosed with liver cancer. Leslie Wolff, Frazier’s personal trainer, confirmed his death.

Frazier won the Olympic heavyweight boxing gold medal for the United States in 1964 in Tokyo and held the world heavyweight boxing crown from 1970 to 1973.

Streaker steals the show at EMAs

Lady Gaga made no mention of the stunt, which was clearly rehearsed, when she collected the gong for Born This Way.

The identity of the man, who spoke with an Irish accent, is unknown.

'Ghost' spotted at subway train

A "ghost" wearing a long red dress, was spotted on a subway train in Beijing, China.

The woman who was also wearing a pair of red shoes with embroidery on them,  appeared at Jingsong station and boarded a train.

Passengers were apprehensive after seeing her standing still at the station alone in the beginning, but after finding out she was a real person, burst into laughter.

Many curious passengers took out their cellphones and cameras to record down the pale-looking "ghost-like" woman whose long hair covered most of her face.

Some even sat next to her to pose for pictures.

Ghosts having sex?

Teens sell sex for pocket money

Twenty teenage girls in Shanghai, China - mostly students under 18 years old and two under 14 - have been caught by police offering sex to earn pocket money.

Three of the suspects, believed to be starters of the "teenage girl prostitution ring," face charges of offering sex services and inducing classmates and friends to enter the business, Zhabei District prosecutors said.

"Many of them offered the prostitution services only to earn some pocket money and they were not ashamed of the trade," said Han Konglin, a prosecutor.
