MALACCA: A MALACCA Historical City Council enforcement officer was stabbed in his arm while his four colleagues were beaten up by a group of men during a raid at an illegal cyber cafe at Taman Seri Duyong, here, on Thursday night.
Azizan Abas, 28, sustained severe injuries on his right arm after he was stabbed with a knife by one of the 30 men who attacked the raiding team just before midnight.

The four other enforcement officers were assaulted by the mob who were armed with sticks and metal rods.
The other enforcement officers were also badly bruised.
State criminal investigations department chief Assistant Commissioner Raja Shahrom Raja Abdullah said the plain-clothed enforcement officers were on undercover duty when they were attacked.
"They were removing computers and other equipment from the illegal cyber cafe when the mob started attacking them.
"Initial investigations revealed that the officers raided the place after discovering it was operating illegally.
"Initially, they were confronted by only a few men, but the group quickly grew to about 30 of them."
Raja Shahrom said an argument broke out and one of the men stabbed the officer, while the rest of the mob pounced on the other four officers.
He said the officer who was stabbed was taken to the Malacca Hospital where his condition is reported to be stable.
"We have identified several individuals who were involved in the attack and we are tracking them down."
