A male body was found this evening at Bedok Reservoir at 5.20pm.
The Straits Times reported that the police received a call from a member of public at 1pm, informing them of a person seen going into the waters.
The body was later found after a four-hour search. It was retrieved 20m from the shoreline by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
Paramedics pronounced him dead at 5.27pm.
A jogger told The Straits Times that she was asked to leave as police cars and ambulances surrounded the area.
This makes it the seventh body found since last year.
The police have classified the drowning as a case of unnatural death. Investigations are ongoing.
