SINGAPORE - A 30-year-old man has been charged with murdering his mother at her flat in Eunos Crescent.
The Straits Times reported that Mohamed Redha Abdul Mutabib is alleged to have caused the death of 55-year-old Madam Asnah Aziz at a unit at Block 20 between 11am and 1.30pm on Thursday.
She was found dead with multiple injuries in a Eunos Crescent flat yesterday afternoon.

Police later arrested her son in connection with the case, which they have classified as murder. No plea was taken from Mohamed Redha Abdul Mutablib.
According to The Straits Times, the woman, known as Madam Asnah Aziz, was found lying motionless in a pool of blood. She was pronounced dead 10 minutes after paramedics arrived.
A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) spokesman told the paper that she had several slash wounds on her body,
Madam Asnah's other son and daughter were at the flat yesterday during the investigations, but they declined to comment.
The Straits Times reported that housewife Patricia Koh, who was visiting her father who lives two units away from Madam Hasnah, saw droplets of blood at a stairwell leading to a door that opens to the rooftop at the block.
Although she does not know Madam Asnah personally, Ms Koh said that she was a "very nice lady" and "was always giving our family food".
"I really cannot believe this has happened."
Most of the residents living on the same floor as Madam Asnah could not return to their homes as the area was cordoned off by the police, and had to wait up to nine hours before they could gain access.
Police are investigating and have classified the case as murder.
Mohamed Redha has been remanded for psychiatric evaluation. The case will be mentioned again on Feb 17.
If convicted of murder, he faces the death penalty.
