Sozzled ... police wake up drunk intruder who had fallen asleep in family's home

A HILARIOUS clip of a drunk intruder taking a nap on a shocked family's floor has become an internet sensation.
The hit video — entitled Our Midnight Visitor — has had 150,000 views since it was uploaded to YouTube after the incident on Sunday.
The footage show a man — who had wandered in through an unlocked door — passed out in the Brewington family's lounge.
Dad Bobbie said he was startled when he heard a crash downstairs while lying in bed at his home in Scarborough, North Yorks.
He added: "I got up and there was a guy passed out in the living room I jumped out of my skin when I saw him. I have no idea who he was."

The Waterstone's worker called the police before making sure wife Elizabeth and two-year-old daughter Suki-Rose were safely outside, then set up a camera "just in case he got up and did anything".
The drunk — dressed in white trainers, blue jeans and a pale T-shirt — is seen lying in front of kids' toys as the family's pets sniff at him.
Two police officers then arrive and attempt to wake him up.
A female officer shakes the man, saying: "Buddy, it's the police. You're not at your house buddy, you're in somebody else's house."
The man eventually sits and the officers escorted him back to the hotel where he had been staying.
Inspector Tony Quinn said: "We are satisfied there was no criminal intention on the part of the man who had entered the property by accident. He was clearly suffering from the effects of alcohol."

Tumbling drunk has wallet hunt 10 days on

See amazing fall in Sun's global smash video

A DRUNK captured falling about in hilarious CCTV footage shown at The Sun online took TEN DAYS to look for his wallet and jacket.

Our video of the rolling-drunk reveller tumbling acrobatically down stairs after a do at London's posh Savoy Hotel has been a huge global hit after being posted here yesterday. See it below.

It has now emerged that the man, in his 40s, sheepishly returned to the Savoy and asked if his missing items had been handed in.
Staff barely suppressed giggles as they recognised the man who had been tumbling around in the party.

A source said: "We were all relieved to see he hadn't fallen under a train.
"Sadly we hadn't seen his wallet or jacket. It's a miracle he could even remember where he'd been that night."
The mystery reveller was thrown out of the theatre awards do, hosted by Stephen Fry, after he fell over in front of guests including Sir Ian McKellen and Liam Neeson.
Our CCTV shows the dinner-suited drunk gather pace as he totters down the flight behind the posh London hotel at 2am.

Do you know him? Call the Sun Newsdesk on 0207 782 4104 or email exclusive@the-sun.co.uk

He hits a side wall, tumbles, slides down the banister on his torso and does a back-flip on to his head.
He then blows his nose on toilet paper and lands in a gutter before staggering round bleeding for more than six minutes.
A source said: "He was a mess. It's amazing he didn't badly hurt himself"

Video Surfaces – Rape Victim Walks Steadily To Her Door Despite Claims She Was Too Drunk To Stand

Unknown | 2:09 PM | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Best Blogger Tips

The Gap fashion executive accusing two policemen of rape has been shown walking steadily up to her door in previously-unseen surveillance footage in court.

Witnesses have said the 28-year-old was so drunk she could not even stand up before the alleged rape by NYPD cops Kenneth Moreno and Franklin Mata.
SEE THE VIDEO HERE
The video did show accused rapist Moreno and lookout Mata making three return trips in five hours, but the policemen are hoping the 2008 CCTV tape will help their case.
The woman’s taxi driver and three of her friends have so far told jurors that she was a drunken wreck after a night of champagne and five Jack Daniel’s and Red Bull drinks.
But the video footage seems to show the woman animated, walking steadily and talking with Mata while extending her hand in a conversational gesture.
Mata places his hand on the woman’s back as she approaches the door and Moreno follows them behind, according to the tape shown in New York’s Supreme Court.
She is then seen pushing her own door in East Village, reported the New York Post.
Moreno and Mata, charged with conspiring to rape the woman, deny intercourse that night and hope they will not be convicted if intoxication cannot be proven.
But prosecutors Coleen Balbert and Randolph Clarke have promised much evidence proving she was too drunk to consent, such as test results for blood-alcohol content.
Prosecutors claim a taxi driver called 911 to say she was too drunk to get herself out of a taxi. Their case rests on the woman being too drunk to consent to having sex.
The officers helped her into the flat but later returned and Moreno raped her while Mata stood watch, prosecutors said.
‘She seemed intoxicated,’ one visitor to her flat said. ‘By her appearance. The way she’s walking. The way her heels sounded.’
The woman’s boss also cried as she told jurors earlier in the trial that the woman was ‘devastated’ and ‘demoralized’ after the incident.
Joseph Tacopina, defending, has previously claimed the woman only became ’100 per cent positive’ she was raped after filing a $60million lawsuit against New York City.
Moreno and Mata deny all charges, including rape and burglary. The trial continues.
