Unknown | 11:25 PM | | | | | | | | | | | Best Blogger Tips

This uncle was caught blatantly looking down a woman's top while she was sleeping on the bus in China.

STOMPer Artful Dodger, who found the photos and video online, said:

"Although the woman should have been more careful when she slept, especially when she was wearing a loose top, it was daring of the uncle to do what he did.

"Warning to women out there. Be careful when you sleep in public places."

All she wants is punishment

BANGLADESH - After doctors in Bangladesh and India have failed to restore Rumana Manzur's eyesight, the Dhaka University teacher now has just one option open: waiting for a miracle.
"I don't know what will happen with my eyes. Now everything depends on Allah," a crying Rumana said yesterday.
She was talking to journalists at capital's LabAid Hospital, where she was readmitted on Monday after her return from India. She demanded punishment of her assaulter husband Hasan Sayeed Sumon.
An assistant professor of International Relations Department at DU, Rumana sustained severe injuries as Sumon pushed his fingers into her eyes at their Dhanmondi residence in the city on June 5.
After initial treatment at LabAid, she was taken to Sankara Nethralaya, an eye hospital in Chennai in India, on June 14. Later she was shifted to Arvind Eye Centre in Pondicherry.
Ophthalmologists there confirmed that her left eye has gone blind permanently while the retina of the other one is not responding to her brain.
"Only some miracles can bring back the vision of my daughter," her father Manzur Hossain said quoting Indian doctors.
Recalling the torture by her husband, Rumana broke down into tears.
"He assaulted me before my five-year-old daughter and left the room leaving me in a pool of blood.
"My daughter was crying. I could not see anything at that moment. My head was hit against some furniture when I tried to get out of the room with my daughter," she said.
Also a postgraduate student at the University of British Columbia in Canada, she said Sumon started torturing her within days after their marriage. But she forgave him time and again thinking of their only daughter, Anusheh.
"Please, press for his punishment."
Asked about the allegation of a romantic relation with an Iranian man during her stay in Canada, she said: "Please don't believe such fabricated allegation. Ask those I stayed with in Dhaka and Canada. Nobody can make such allegation."
Earlier, her friends at the university in Canada and the Bangladeshi community there said the accusation of infidelity is "nonsense," and is an attempt to damage her reputation.
Rumana's lawyer Elina Khan, who was present at the press briefing, fears that one of Sumon's lawyer uncles might influence the case against Sumon.
Police arrested him on June 15.
A Dhaka court yesterday placed him on a two-day fresh remand in a case filed for an attempt to murder Rumana. He was earlier remanded for three days in two phases.
Bahauddin Faruki, sub-inspector of Detective Branch, in his remand prayer said Sumon needs to be quizzed before Rumana.
Also yesterday, 45 academics, writers, lawyers, human rights activists and media personalities in a statement expressed concern that Rumana is being subjected to character assassination by a section of the media and some individuals on social media.
They condemned any attempt to justify the cruel attack on Rumana.
Meanwhile, DU teachers of international relations department in a press release demanded shifting of the case against Sumon to a Speedy Trial Tribunal.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid and State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury visited Rumana at LabAid.
Nahid ensured the family members that her assaulter will be brought to justice.

Alice Pyne, 15, Writes ‘Bucket List’ of Things She Wants to Do – Before She Dies of Cancer

Unknown | 5:10 PM | | | | | | | | | | | Best Blogger Tips

An inspirational teenage girl has created a ‘bucket list’ after being told that she has terminal cancer.

15-year-old cancer sufferer Alice Pyne with her pet Labrador Mabel
Alice Pyne, 15, suffers from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and has created a website to update followers about her progress. The teenager, who lives with younger sister Milly and parents Vicky and Simon, has a list of wishes which range from meeting Take That to staying in a caravan.
Her family is working towards helping her achieve all her goals before cancer claims her life.
The courageous youngster speaks frankly about her illness on her blog www.alicepyne.blogspot.com and has over 1,000 followers, including This Morning presenter Philip Schofield.
ALICE’S TO DO LIST SO FAR
To swim with sharks
To make everyone sign up to be a bone marrow donor
To go to Kenya (I can’t travel there now but I wanted to)
To enter Mabel in a regional Labrador show
To have a photo shoot with Milly, Clarissa, Sammie and Megs
To have a private cinema party for me and my BFFs
To design an Emma Bridgewater Mug to sell for charity
To stay in a caravan
To have a purple Apple iPad but I’m not really allowed to put that on here and mum is trying to borrow one
To be a dolphin trainer (I can’t do this one either now)
To meet Take That
To go to Cadbury World and eat loads of chocolate
To have a nice picture taken with Mabel
To stay in the chocolate room at Alton Towers
To have my hair done if they can do anything with it
To have a back massage
To go whale watching
Alice was diagnosed with cancer just over three years ago and has undergone extensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments.
She also received a stem cell transplant where her own treated cells were used, but treatment was not effective.
Last year more than 1,000 people signed up to see if they could donate bone marrow to Alice, along with help from the Anthony Nolan Trust, but in October a scan showed there were no more curative treatment options.
Brave Alice – who lists her occupation as a ‘full-time cancer fighter’ says on her blog: ‘I’m 15 and I have terminal cancer. I’ve created a bucket list because there are so many things I still want to do in my life … some are possible, some will remain a dream.
‘My blog is to document this precious time with my family and friends, doing the things I want to do. You only have one life … live it!’
‘It’s a bit funny me doing a blog because mum has always done these sort of things and I’ve never really being interested before.
‘Most of you know that my scan at Alder Hey wasn’t very good and that the cancer is now spreading through my body.
‘It’s a pain because there’s so much stuff that I still want to do.
‘I guess that my particular cancer is made of strong stuff (which is hard because I know I gave it my all and I’m strong and determined too).
‘Anyway, mum always tells me that life is what we make of it and so I’m going to make the best of what I have and because there were so many things I still wanted to do, mum suggested that I turn my ideas into a bucket list.
I’ve not quite finished it yet, as I keep remembering other bits, so I might add things to it as I go along.
‘I’m not expecting to do everything on it. Some of the things are just not going to happen because I can’t even leave the country now (I’m too much of a risk), but they’re on there, because they were on my ‘to do’ list at some point.
‘So, I thought it would be fun to have my list online and to tick things off and do a little update on everything I do.
‘If anyone has suggestions, please let mum or dad know because they don’t know how to do all of it yet. They’re working on it!
One of Alice’s main goals is to encourage people to sign up to the bone marrow register.
On her blog she dispels the myth that it hurts to have the procedure done.
She said: ‘I read on someone’s post that it is really painful.  Well, mostly bone marrow is taken as cells via a needle and I have had it done.
‘I was 13 when I had my first transplant and because they used my own cells, I had to have them taken out (they call it harvested) and then stored and put back in some months later after more chemo.
‘I’m not just saying this, but it really didn’t hurt at all.  I had a tiny bruise from the needles and that was about it. I was a bit tired too but I’m always tired so that may not have been the cells.’

Video Surfaces – Rape Victim Walks Steadily To Her Door Despite Claims She Was Too Drunk To Stand

Unknown | 2:09 PM | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Best Blogger Tips

The Gap fashion executive accusing two policemen of rape has been shown walking steadily up to her door in previously-unseen surveillance footage in court.

Witnesses have said the 28-year-old was so drunk she could not even stand up before the alleged rape by NYPD cops Kenneth Moreno and Franklin Mata.
SEE THE VIDEO HERE
The video did show accused rapist Moreno and lookout Mata making three return trips in five hours, but the policemen are hoping the 2008 CCTV tape will help their case.
The woman’s taxi driver and three of her friends have so far told jurors that she was a drunken wreck after a night of champagne and five Jack Daniel’s and Red Bull drinks.
But the video footage seems to show the woman animated, walking steadily and talking with Mata while extending her hand in a conversational gesture.
Mata places his hand on the woman’s back as she approaches the door and Moreno follows them behind, according to the tape shown in New York’s Supreme Court.
She is then seen pushing her own door in East Village, reported the New York Post.
Moreno and Mata, charged with conspiring to rape the woman, deny intercourse that night and hope they will not be convicted if intoxication cannot be proven.
But prosecutors Coleen Balbert and Randolph Clarke have promised much evidence proving she was too drunk to consent, such as test results for blood-alcohol content.
Prosecutors claim a taxi driver called 911 to say she was too drunk to get herself out of a taxi. Their case rests on the woman being too drunk to consent to having sex.
The officers helped her into the flat but later returned and Moreno raped her while Mata stood watch, prosecutors said.
‘She seemed intoxicated,’ one visitor to her flat said. ‘By her appearance. The way she’s walking. The way her heels sounded.’
The woman’s boss also cried as she told jurors earlier in the trial that the woman was ‘devastated’ and ‘demoralized’ after the incident.
Joseph Tacopina, defending, has previously claimed the woman only became ’100 per cent positive’ she was raped after filing a $60million lawsuit against New York City.
Moreno and Mata deny all charges, including rape and burglary. The trial continues.
