Yet another student couple has been caught behaving intimately in public, as latest photos were posted to citizen journalism site STOMP on Jan 12.

Inappropriate teacher-student relationships may be the hot-button topic recently, but girl-boy relationships among students have always been a point of contention among parents and educators.

Students in uniform have been caught in public displays of affection on more than one occasion, leaving a bad taste in the mouths of those who witnessed them.

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 9 — Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was once one of Asia’s fastest-rising political stars, a popular reformer whose image fronted Time magazine in 1997 as “The Future of Asia” — a status knocked down a year later when he was charged with corruption and sodomy.

Today, a court acquitted him of second set of sodomy charges in a decision that will continue the remarkable comeback of the charismatic 64-year-old father of six, who first rose to prominence in the 1970s as a student radical.

Anwar had once been tipped to take over from then Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. But in 1998, in the wake of a campaign in Malaysia to root out corruption following the Asian financial crisis, his mentor sacked him as deputy prime minister and finance minister and levelled the first set of charges that would derail his ascent.

PAS Spiritual adviser Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat has dismissed as a "joke" speculation spread by former PKR leader over the UMNO media that the Islamist party would replace Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim with UMNO stalwart Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.

The rumors gained strength after Bayan Baru MP Zahrain Hashim, who left PKR on sour terms, suggested Ku Li as someone who could take over the post after Ku Li formed Amanah last week, which is the latest NGO in town. However, it must be pointed that Ku Li is still an UMNO member and has not given any indication that he will step down. Chances are higher that Amanah will be used as a vehicle to present Ku Li as a possible uniting force in UMNO presidential race.

Many in UMNO fear that deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin's racial rhetoric may hinder his ability to be a prime minister who can rule the country with peace and progress. Ku Li presents that in-between alternative from Najib to Muhyiddin.

Man with 90 kids and 17 wives to wed again

Daad Mohammed Al Balushi, United Arab Emirates' super dad who has 90 children from 17 wives is all set to marry yet again in two weeks.

The 63-year-old big daddy says "100 children are within reach", reported The Khaleej Times.

Two of his wives are expecting kids in June. “Next month, by the grace of God, I will be the father of 92 children,” he said. He already has 50 grandchildren.

“Now I have three wives. I will have my fourth wife after next week when I get married to Rukhsana Arif from Pakistan. There will be a big feast. His Highness Shaikh Humaid will bear all the expenses,” the paper qouted him as saying.

Al Balushi calls himself a 'global father' as his wives come from Philippines and Morocco even. "Unfortunately, it is not allowed to have more than four wives at a time. If allowed, I can manage 20 wives at a time. But I never marry a divorcee or widow."

Each wife lives separately with her children in luxury. Each home has a car and housemaids. "Now, I have 17 houses with 17 families, all under my care," says the super dad. He currently has 60 sons and 30 daughters.

The entire family meets in Manamah every week in Al Balushi’s old home. He visits Manamah on Thursday nights to attend the weekly court of the Ajman Ruler.

“Life and death is in God’s hand. If I live, I am certain I will achieve the target. I have given word to the Late President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, that I will have at least 100 children before I die,” said Al Balushi.

He said he made the promise in 2002 while late Sheikh Zayed honoured him and other UAE nationals with the most number of children. He came on top then and remains there till this day.

Al Balushi lost his leg in a road accident in 1995. He said he would go to Jaipur, India, to have an artificial leg next month and possibly look for a new bride there.

His father Murad Abdul Rahman lived until 110 years and had four wives with 27 children.
