SINGAPORE - On Dec 5, a former primary school teacher faced five charges of having sex with a pupil and one of committing an obscene act.

The 32-year-old woman, who is now unemployed, is said to have had sex with the 13-year-old pupil four times. She was also charged with one count each of performing oral sex on him and committing an obscene act with a child. Neither the accused nor the boy can be named because there is a gag order.

The woman is alleged to have had sex with the boy at Sembawang Park some time in May last year.

A special education teacher at Gonzales Community School has been placed on administrative leave after police say she dragged a blind, 6-year-old, special-needs student down a school hallway.

Santa Fe police said the teacher told investigators the boy had been uncooperative with her requests that he walk to another classroom. She grabbed the boy by the ankle and began dragging him down a long hall to the other room.

The incident occurred Nov. 15, and police were notified a week later by school staff. Staff had made the boy’s parents aware shortly after the incident, according to Sgt. Andrea Dobyns, and the family didn’t report it to police.

Looking visibly thinner than before and limping slightly from his foot cuffs, one-time party boy Justin Lee walked solemnly into a Taipei district court yesterday morning to claim trial for allegedly raping more than 30 women - among them models, actresses and a television host - and filming the acts, in a case that has riveted Taiwan for months.

Lee, who had been in remand for the past four months, was dressed in a white shirt and black padded jacket and sported long, straggly hair. He looked older than his 27 years.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 ― The family members of Aminulrasyid Amzah, the schoolboy shot dead two years ago by police corporal Jenain Subi, are distraught that his killer was set free today by a High Court here, calling the decision “unfair”.

A sobbing Azura Amzah, Aminulrasyid’s older sister, told The Malaysian Insider that her family was still reeling in shock that Jenain’s earlier conviction was overturned, when they had fought tooth and nail for two years to seek justice for the 15-year-old boy’s death.

“The court’s decision is unfair. I really see it as unfair to us,” she said when contacted here.

“We will discuss with our lawyers on further action,” she added.

OK. So I know I'm supposed to read that article and be all Sex-In-the-City about it. I'm supposed to check them off at random like "Oh boy, I've totally had some 'Barter System Sex'!" But the thing is, I didn't even know that "Barter System Sex", which the article describes as "sometimes you just really want help putting together your IKEA furniture", existed before this article! Back in my single days I put my own furniture together, and if I ever did require help from someone else, I certainly counted sex with me as far more valuable than the construction of an entertainment center.

Madam Ser Chwee Tiang, 67, was discovered face down in the water by relatives.

She had left on a two-week trip on Nov 9 with her sister, brother and a friend, to catch up with relatives and friends.

On Nov 22, the group decided to visit a famous hot springs resort at Beitou, a northern district of Taipei, and try the hot spa there.

One of Madam Ser's two sons, Mr Wu Fusheng, 37, told The New Paper that his mother, her friends and relatives had booked a 40-minute session at the resort some time before 6pm.

In a joint operation, law enforcers recently tracked down 83 websites that were used to distribute illegal and counterfeit medicines, most of which were sexual performance boosters.

In the fifth Pangea Operation from Sept. 25 to Oct. 2, the National Drug and Food Monitoring Agency (BPOM) confiscated unlicensed drugs worth Rp 150 million (US$15,642).

BPOM chairwoman Lucky S. Slamet said on Monday that the agency had requested the Information and Communication Ministry to close down the websites.

"We have found 83 websites that distribute illegal and counterfeit medicines and we have requested the ministry to block them," she told a press conference in Jakarta.

The 82% of women questioned said they had watched an X-rated film at least once before, compared to 99% of men, according to the study of 579 women carried out by the IFOP polling institute in September.
